Emily Millar, an Interior Designer based in Geelong.

From an early age, Emily has always been a creative, drawing, sewing and exploring anything imaginative she could find. Having been fortunate enough to have grown up in a beautiful old homestead in Southern NSW, Emily’s first taste of interior design came along as a teenager with the goal of renovating one of the bedrooms. Looking back she laughs about how much she had to learn and what she would have done differently but it sparked the idea for a career in the building industry.

Three years later, Emily moved to Geelong to pursue a Bachelors degree in Architecture at Deakin. A year and a half later she also commenced a Cert IV in Interior Decoration at the Gordon. Since completing her studies she has gone on to work with at Hamlan and GT&B building a wealth of industry knowledge and working with a range of builders across a variety of high end residential projects.

Who We Are

“ Interior Design is so much more than whether the colours work together or what one’s ‘style’ is I believe. I have a healthy love for most styles of architecture however the one thing each of my projects have in common is warmth and character. Whether that is your grandmothers old sideboard or a shower tiled in handmade Moroccan tiles, my goal is to understand the way you live and to design a beautiful space to suit. I want to design homes that feel actually feel like a home.”
